Tic-n-Time was started in 2007 by two businessmen - Steve Jenkins and Jeff Bailey. Tic-n-Time was initially located in Hendersonville, NC on Kanuga Street. When the Asheville territory opened, we made the decision to move the shop to the Historic Grove Arcade building in downtown Asheville.
When you visit Tic-n-Time, you will most likely meet Jeff, as he runs the shop Monday - Saturday. Jeff has a history with clocks, as he originally started selling clocks in the late 1980's while working for his father-in-law in the family furniture store. In the mid 1990's, the family furniture business closed due to owner retirement, at which time Jeff and his wife Leigh-Anna opened a furniture store which operated for 10 years (and yes, Jeff carried clocks in his furniture store). When business slowed in the mid 2000's, Jeff met up with Steve Jenkins and shortly thereafter, Tic-n-Time was born!
In addition to Jeff's history with selling clocks, he has also attended the Howard Miller clock course, held at the factory in Michigan. He is an Authorized Service Center for the customers of Tic-n-Time.
